Social media personality Rajab Butt and his wife Eman Fatima have once again become the focus of online debate after Eman’s brother publicly explained why he issued a statement against the YouTuber.

The couple’s relationship has long been under scrutiny on social media, particularly amid allegations, claims of infidelity and reports surrounding Eman Fatima’s pregnancy during a period when Rajab Butt was reportedly abroad.

Recent tensions between the two and Eman’s return to her parents’ home further fuelled speculation. Addressing the controversy, her brother Awan said he felt compelled to speak out solely to defend his sister.

According to Awan, Eman was facing criticism during her pregnancy and was under significant stress. He said he could not bear to see her in such a condition, which prompted him to share his stance publicly.

He clarified that his intention was not to target Rajab Butt but to protect and support his sister.

Speaking about reports of a visa rejection, Awan said he was unsure whether the news was accurate but trusted what Rajab Butt had conveyed at the time.

He added that the situation might not have escalated had he refrained from speaking on social media, but he does not regret his decision, as he believes his sister’s dignity and defence were paramount.
