Pakistan set Australia a target of 208 runs to win in the third and final Twenty20 International of the three-match series at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 207 for six wickets in their 20 overs.

Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and elected to bat.

He made three changes to the team, bringing in Fakhar Zaman, Khawaja Nafi, and Shaheen Afridi.

“The wicket is getting weaker after the first 10 overs. Our aim is to score more in the power play. Our spinners have been impressive in the previous matches, and with five quality spin options, we will try to whitewash the series,” Salman Ali Agha said.

The innings was powered by a sharp start from Saim Ayub, who played a fluent knock of 56 off just 37 deliveries. Former skipper Babar Azam anchored the innings with a steady, unbeaten 50 off 36 balls, providing the perfect platform for a late-overs onslaught.

The momentum shifted gears when Shadab Khan arrived at the crease, narrowly missing out on a half-century with a blistering 46 off only 19 balls.

Youngster Khawaja Nafay provided the final flourish, chipping in with a quick-fire 21 off 12 balls to propel the total to 207.

Pakistan had already secured the series with victories in the first two matches, winning the opener by 22 runs and the second by 90 runs.
