Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday evening, with the prime minister expected to take the final decision after the meeting, sources said.

Sources said an important meeting will be held in Lahore at 6 pm, where Naqvi will hold final consultations with the prime minister

A final announcement regarding Pakistan’s participation in the T20 World Cup is expected after the meeting.

The prime minister and the PCB chairman also met last week, during which Shehbaz Sharif instructed officials to keep all options open.

The unveiling ceremony of Pakistan’s kit for the tournament was cancelled earlier. The Pakistan cricket team’s departure for Colombo is scheduled for Monday.
