FIA, Interpol arrest three murder suspects abroad
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Interpol have arrested three fugitives wanted in murder and attempted murder cases in Punjab, officials said on Wednesday.
The suspects — Taimoor Ahmed, Abdul Qayyum and Ali Raza — were apprehended in Bahrain and the UAE before being transferred to Lahore.
According to FIA spokespersons, Interpol had issued red notices to facilitate their arrests.
After arriving in Lahore, the fugitives were handed over to Punjab Police authorities by FIA Immigration officials.
The arrests mark a joint operation between FIA, its National Crime Bureau, and Interpol to track and return criminals evading the law abroad.
