Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday directed all federal ministries to swiftly prepare recommendations for domestic and foreign investment and sector-specific development projects.

Chairing a meeting on the implementation of Economic Governance Reforms in Islamabad on the first day of the New Year, he said facilitating investors through streamlined institutional and administrative processes is a top government priority.

PM Shehbaz stressed that proposals promoting the export sector should be given special attention to boost investment and drive key development projects.

He also called for enhanced coordination between federal and provincial governments to ensure effective reforms and overall economic growth.

The prime minister directed ministries to provide robust support through Pakistani embassies abroad to facilitate foreign investors.

He added that equal focus should be given to industrial production, agriculture, and other priority sectors to attract investment.
