Gold prices in Pakistan and the global market continued their volatile trend on Saturday, with a significant decline recorded locally.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold in Pakistan dropped by Rs2,300 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs442,162 per tola.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,972, now standing at Rs379,082.

In the international market, gold prices also slipped. The global rate declined by $23, settling at $4,198 per ounce, the association reported.
