Gold prices surge in local and global markets
Gold prices continued to rise in both the local and international markets.
In Pakistan, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs6,601, reaching Rs374,281, while the per-tola price jumped by Rs7,770 to a new high of Rs436,562.
In the global market, gold also saw a sharp increase, climbing $77 to trade at $4,142 per ounce.
