An anti-terrorism court in Lahore on Monday extended the judicial remand of PTI activist Falak Javed in the riot cases till December 2.

The ATC heard the cases related to the alleged attack on Islamabad police and arson incidents in Zaman Park.

Falak Javed was produced before ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gul upon completion of her 14-day judicial remand.

The prosecutor argued that the investigation was still underway and that the accused was required to remain in jail for further questioning. He requested an extension in judicial remand.

The case pertaining to the alleged attack on the Islamabad police has been registered at the Race Course police station.

The court accepted the prosecution’s request and ordered that the accused be presented again on December 2.
