Gold prices continued their upward surge across Pakistan on Tuesday in line with the increase in international markets.

In Pakistan, gold prices rose by Rs5,900 per tola to reach Rs435,762, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs5,065, settling at Rs373,595.

In the international market, the price of gold climbed by $59, hitting $4,134 per ounce.

Moreover, the silver price increased by Rs144 per tola to reach Rs5,353.

International gold prices extended gain to a near three-week high on Tuesday, helped by growing expectations of another US Federal Reserve interest rate cut in December and signs of an end to the US government shutdown.
