IT Internship Programme offers skills, training, and Rs50,000 per month — here’s how to apply!
The Punjab government has launched the Chief Minister’s IT Internship Programme, a new initiative designed to connect IT graduates with leading software companies across the province.
Under the programme, IT and computer science graduates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs50,000 during a five-month internship period.
The initiative aims to help young graduates gain hands-on experience, enhance market-relevant skills, and train in emerging technologies.
According to the government, the internships will be offered at reputed software houses, allowing participants to work alongside professional and expert mentors from the IT industry.
Punjab residents who have completed a four-year IT or computer science degree are eligible to apply online through https://cmitinterns.punjab.gov.pk/.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said the programme reflects her government’s vision of creating a “Digital Punjab.”
She added that the province is being transformed into an IT hub to drive innovation and economic growth, while the Nawaz Sharif IT City project will serve as a “game changer” for the sector.
