Pakistani shooters win silver and bronze at Asian Shotgun Grand Prix in Kuwait
Pakistan’s shooters won silver and bronze medals in the rifle skeet competition at the Asian Shotgun Grand Prix Championship in Kuwait.
Usman Chand clinched the silver medal, while Imam Haroon secured bronze.
The President of the Asian Shooting Confederation, Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah, congratulated the Pakistani players and announced free training facilities for both shooters in recognition of their achievement.
Experienced shooter Usman Chand has competed for Pakistan at several World Championships in 2023, 2022, 2019, and 2018.
Pakistan’s Asian Championship 2025 team included 21-year-old Imam Haroon, who also participated in the 2023 World Championships and the 2024 Olympic qualifications.
Their victory in Kuwait is another significant milestone for Pakistan’s shooting sport and reflects the country’s growing popularity in international competitions.
