Fuel prices increased by up to Rs3 per litre
The federal government late Friday announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products, raising petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) rates by up to Rs3 per litre.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, the price of petrol has been raised by Rs2.43 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs265.45 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has gone up by Rs3.02 per litre to Rs278.44 per litre.
The revised prices will remain in effect from November 1 to November 15, the statement said.
The adjustment in fuel prices has been made in line with fluctuations in global oil markets and the exchange rate, officials added.
