Ducky Bhai files post-arrest bail plea in Lahore High Court in gambling app case
YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, has approached the Lahore High Court seeking post-arrest bail in the ongoing gambling app promotion case.
Ducky Bhai, who is currently in the custody of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), filed the petition through his counsel, which has been submitted to the registrar’s office of the Lahore High Court.
Earlier, on October 2, a Lahore district and sessions court had rejected his bail plea after hearing arguments from both sides.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had arrested Rehman and his wife, Aroob Jatoi, on August 16 when they were about to travel abroad.
According to court records, Aroob Jatoi and Ducky Bhai’s manager are on interim bail in the same case.
Investigators allege that Ducky Bhai used his social media influence for financial gain, encouraging the public to invest in online gambling applications, which led many people to lose their savings.
