Petrol prices in Pakistan are likely to increase by up to Rs2.50 per litre for the next fortnight, sources said on Wednesday.

According to sources, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has prepared a summary proposing adjustments in petroleum product prices due to fluctuations and uncertainty in the international oil market.

Under the proposed revision, petrol prices may go up by Rs2.35 per litre, while high-speed diesel could see an increase of Rs2.50 per litre.

The summary will be sent to the Ministry of Finance on October 31.
