Pakistan, South Africa gear up for second T20 clash in Lahore
The second T20 match of the three-match series between Pakistan and South Africa will be played on October 31 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
South Africa currently lead the three-match T20 series 1–0.
Preparations for the crucial encounter have been completed, including the laying of a sporting pitch to ensure an exciting contest, as a large turnout is expected at the stadium for the second match.
According to officials, arrangements such as chair cleaning, installation of walk-through gates and CCTV cameras, and maintenance of heavy generators have been finalised to ensure the smooth conduct of the match.
To keep fans engaged, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has prepared a surface which is expected to produce both wickets and plenty of boundaries.
Both teams have arrived in Lahore from Rawalpindi ahead of the match.
After landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport, the squads were escorted to their respective hotels.
The players will rest on Wednesday before holding an extensive practice session on Thursday evening.
