Pakistan condemns Israeli violations of Gaza peace deal
Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s violations of the Gaza peace agreement, calling the latest attacks a blatant breach of international law and recent peace commitments.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said in a statement that Pakistan “strongly denounces the renewed attacks by Israeli occupying forces in Gaza,” which have reportedly resulted in the deaths of several civilians.
These actions constitute a clear violation of international law as well as the recently concluded peace agreement, the spokesperson emphasised, warning that such aggression by Israeli forces risks undermining global efforts to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region.
Pakistan urged the international community to ensure an immediate halt to Israeli violations of the ceasefire and called for accountability for those responsible for breaching the peace accord.
Reaffirming its long-standing stance, Pakistan reiterated its support for the establishment of an independent, viable, and contiguous State of Palestine based on the pre-June 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
