President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended heartfelt felicitations to the government and people of Turkiye on the occasion of the country’s 102nd Republic Day, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with its brotherly nation.

“For the people of Pakistan, Turkiye holds a special place in our hearts,” President Zardari said, adding that “the deep-rooted bonds between our two nations are anchored in shared history, faith, and mutual respect.

In every difficult hour for both nations, we have stood together, unshaken and rock solid.”

He said this day marked a defining moment in world history when the resilient Turkish nation, guided by the visionary leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, embarked on a path of reform, progress, and renewal.

“The courage and determination with which the people of Turkiye shaped their destiny continue to inspire generations around the world,” he added.

President Zardari said Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam had deeply admired the heroic leadership of the Turkish people in establishing the Republic and introducing revolutionary reforms that transformed Turkiye into an admired nation in the world.

“The institutional relationship with Türkiye in all spheres of life remains strong and vibrant, and I am sure it will develop exponentially as we march forward,” he noted.

“May Allah Almighty bless the Republic of Türkiye with lasting peace, progress, and prosperity,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that relations between Pakistan and Türkiye had entered a new era of strategic partnership under the “sagacious” leadership of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In his message from Saudi Arabia, the prime minister congratulated President Erdogan and the people of Turkiye, saying both nations were striving together to unlock the vast potential of their time-tested and enduring ties in all areas of mutual interest.

He praised Turkiye’s remarkable transformation and economic progress under President Erdogan’s bold leadership, saying it had earned global admiration.

“We take great pride in the accomplishments of our Turkish brothers and remain their steadfast partners in this journey of progress.

Pakistan and Turkiye are united by bonds of faith, history, and fraternity that transcend geography and time,” Shehbaz stated.
