KMU announces MDCAT results; over 53% candidates qualify for MBBS admissions
The Khyber Medical University (KMU) has announced the results of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT), with more than 53 per cent of candidates qualifying for MBBS admissions.
According to KMU, a total of 39,986 candidates registered for the test, while 38,447 appeared in the examination, marking an attendance rate of 96 per cent.
As per the results, 53.26 per cent of candidates were declared eligible for admission to MBBS, while 58.43 per cent qualified for BDS programmes.
The university said the admission process for public and private medical and dental colleges will begin soon.
KMU added that one case of unfair means was reported during the test.
Meanwhile, 894 candidates scored between 170 and 180 marks.
