President Asif Zardari to visit Qatar from November 4 to 6

President will meet Qatari Emir, attend summit on social development

President Asif Ali Zardari is set to visit Qatar next month, where he will meet Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is expected to attend the World Summit for Social Development (WSSD), sources said.

According to diplomatic sources, President Zardari will travel to Doha from November 4 to 6.

During his stay, he will hold a bilateral meeting with the Qatari Emir to discuss matters of mutual interest and regional cooperation.

President Zardari will also participate in the World Summit for Social Development, which brings together heads of state and government to deliberate on strategies for global social progress and inclusive growth.

The United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, and several world leaders are expected to attend the summit.

The first such conference was held in Copenhagen in 1995.

During the visit, President Zardari is also expected to hold meetings with a number of international leaders on the sidelines of the summit.
