A sessions court in Lahore on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of a post-arrest bail application filed by social media activist Falak Javed in a case related to uploading a fake video of a provincial minister.

Additional Sessions Judge Sajida Ahmed Chaudhry conducted the hearing. During the proceedings, the complainant’s counsel submitted the power of attorney before the court.

The accused, Falak Javed, has filed the bail application from jail through her counsel, Advocate Mian Ali Ashfaq.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has registered the case against the activist.

The court adjourned the further hearing till October 24.
