Pindi Test Day 2: South Africa bowl out Pakistan for 333 in first innings

Keshav Maharaj bags seven wickets, sends Masood, Azam, Shakeel back to pavilion

On day two of the Rawalpindi Test, South Africa bowled out Pakistan on 333 runs, marking the end of their first innings before lunch.

Pakistan Captain Shan Masood turned out to be the highest run-getter for his team. He scored 87 runs before losing his wicket to Keshav Maharaj.

Saud Shakeel and Abdullah Shafique also registered fifties to their names. Both batters added 66 and 57 runs, respectively. Salman Agha also joined the rally with a 45-run knock.

Star batter Babar Azam fell flat again to amaze his fans when he also lost his wicket after scoring just 16 runs.

South African spinner Keshav Maharaj, who missed the first test in Lahore owing to a groin injury, amassed seven wickets, backed by a two-wicket haul by Simon Harmer.

Pakistan were 259-5 at the end of day one as Saud Shakeel had remained unbeaten on 42, with Salman Ali Agha on 10 not out.
