At least four Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel were killed and 11 others injured in a firing incident by unidentified men near Kot Lalu in Daraban tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Monday.

According to initial reports, the FC personnel were on security duty at the SNGPL office when unknown assailants opened fire on them.

The injured were immediately shifted to the CMH Dera Ismail Khan, where some are reported to be in critical condition.

After the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the attackers.
