Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have jointly launched the Go AI Hub, a major step to speed up digital growth and innovation in the country.

The project has been started under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and supports Pakistan’s goal of becoming a Digital Nation.

The launch event in Islamabad was attended by IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja, GO Telecom CEO Yahya bin Saleh Al-Mansour, and senior SIFC officials.

Speaking at the event, the IT minister said that the Go AI Hub would help young Pakistanis learn new digital skills, create jobs, and make the country part of the global technology market.

She added that the project would also improve Pakistan’s work in artificial intelligence, data systems, and digital training.

Several agreements were signed to build datacentres, AI labs, and a “GO Talent Hub” to train people in modern technologies.

The project will also help Pakistani freelancers reach Saudi and international clients, increasing IT exports.

The IT minister also said that the Go AI Hub shows how Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are working together to strengthen their partnership in technology and investment.

The initiative is expected to boost Pakistan’s digital economy, create jobs, and open new opportunities for the country’s skilled youth in the global market.
