Captured suicide bomber exposes Afghan Taliban-Fitna Al Khwarij nexus
A recently captured suicide bomber has made startling disclosures, exposing the nexus between the Afghan Taliban and the Fitna Al Khwarij terrorist network, confirming that both groups have been using young Afghan men for terrorist activities.
According to security sources, the Frontier Corps Khyber carried out a major operation in South Waziristan, arresting a suicide bomber identified as Naimatullah, son of Musa Jan.
The arrested bomber is a resident of Kandahar province of Afghanistan.
In his confessional statement, he revealed alarming details about his recruitment and training.
Naimatullah, a student at the Johariya Madrassa in Kandahar, said he was told by some people at the seminary that waging jihad against the Pakistan Army was permissible.
He disclosed that a group of 40 individuals gathered in Khost and entered Pakistan via Chiwar.
They later travelled to the Lale Zai area in Barwand, South Waziristan, where a Taliban centre was located.
Their commander, identified as Umar Hamas, was responsible for training recruits for suicide missions.
Naimatullah said the full suicide training course lasted three months, but he underwent only one week of training.
He said the trainees were taught how to carry out vehicle-borne and checkpoint suicide attacks against Pakistani forces.
During training, Naimatullah said, he heard the call to prayer and realised that Pakistani soldiers were also Muslims, making attacks against them forbidden in Islam.
The revelations by the captured bomber underscore how the Afghan Taliban are indoctrinating young men and exploiting them for terrorist activities against the Pakistan Army through religious manipulation and ideological conditioning.
