Case filed over alleged abduction of NCCA deputy director

Police launch probe over complaint filed by officer’s wife

A case has been registered in Islamabad over the alleged abduction of National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCA) Deputy Director (Operations) Muhammad Usman.

According to police, the case was filed at Shams Colony Police Station on the complaint of the victim’s wife.

The First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged under Section 365 of the Pakistan Penal Code against unidentified suspects.

In her statement, the complainant said that her husband, Muhammad Usman, was forcibly taken away by unknown individuals and that his whereabouts remain unknown.

She appealed for his immediate recovery.

Police said an investigation into the incident has been launched, and multiple teams have been constituted to trace the missing official.
