Pakistan, Kazakhstan counter-terrorism exercise begins

Dostarym-V aims to strengthen military cooperation, enhance professional skills

Pakistan-Kazakhstan Joint Exercise Dostarym-V is being conducted between the armies of Pakistan and Kazakhstan in the counter terrorism domain from October 13 to 24 at the Special Operations School, Cherat, Pakistan.

Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group and the Special Forces of the Kazakhstan Army are participating in the exercise, said a news release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

“The opening ceremony of the exercise was conducted on 14 October 2025 at Cherat, Pakistan.

“The exercise is aimed at refining professional skills through joint training and harnessing historic military-to-military relations among the friendly countries,” it further said.

Participating troops are looking forward to benefiting from mutual expertise/ experience.
