Gold prices soar to new highs across Pakistan
Gold prices continued their upward rally across Pakistan on Thursday, reaching another all-time high in line with the rising trend in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold jumped by Rs1,900 per tola to reach a record Rs442,800.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,629, hitting Rs379,629 for the first time.
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $19 per ounce, pushing the price of 24-karat gold to $4,217.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the local market, with per tola silver steady at Rs5,337 and 10 grams at Rs4,575.
In the global market, silver prices also held firm at $52.50 per ounce.
