PTI activist Falak Javed remanded to police custody for 14 days in Zaman Park arson case

Court directs police to submit investigation report at next hearing; the accused was earlier on judicial remand in two NCCIA cases

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore on Monday handed over PTI social activist Falak Javed to police on a 14-day physical remand in a case related to arson and vandalism outside Zaman Park.

The case was heard by ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gill, during which the police produced the accused before the court and requested physical remand for further investigation.

Granting the request, the court also directed the investigating officer to submit the investigation report at the next hearing.

According to police, Falak Javed was previously on judicial remand in two separate cases registered by the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NCCIA).
