Lahore Test Day 2: Pakistan score 378 runs in first innings; Imam and Salman miss centuries

The Pakistan cricket team have scored 378 runs before getting all out on the second day of the Lahore test at Gaddafi Stadium. At the end of day one, Pakistan were 313-5.

Left-arm South African spinner Senuran Muthusamy grabbed six wickets.

Imam-ul-Haq and Agha Salman were left short of just seven runs from their tons, as they both lost their wickets 93 runs each.

Captain Shan Masood scored 76 runs, while wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan also added 75 runs, part of the long-standing partnership with Agha Salman.

Pakistan Captain Shan Masood won the toss and elected to bat at Gaddafi Stadium.

Abdullah Shafique and Saud Shakeel failed to make an impact, scoring only 2 and 0 respectively, while star batter Babar Azam managed 23 before being dismissed.

The Test matches are part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 and will be followed by six white-ball matches (three T20Is and three ODIs) between the two sides from 28 October to 8 November.
