PTI decides to replace Ali Amin Gandapur as KP chief minister
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to replace Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur amid differences among party leaders.
According to sources, PTI founder Imran Khan has given his nod and issued directives to the party in this regard.
According to a decision, Sohail Afridi has been nominated as the new chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The decision came in the aftermath of wrangling among PTI’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter.
The sources said that many factions have emerged within the PTI, and some party leaders started refusing the instructions of Ali Amin Gandapur.
PTI chairman unaware of removal
Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has said he is unaware of any decision to remove Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur from office.
Speaking to the media, Barrister Gohar said he had not yet received any official information regarding Gandapur’s removal.
Meanwhile, Bushra Bibi’s lawyer, Rai Suleman, confirmed that Ali Amin Gandapur has been removed from his position as chief minister.
