Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday returned home after completing a three-day official visit to Malaysia at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

The visit, which took place from October 5 to 7, was aimed at deepening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in multiple sectors.

The prime minister was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, federal ministers, and senior government officials.

During his visit, PM Shehbaz held wide-ranging talks with his Malaysian counterpart, covering trade, investment, IT and telecom, the Halal industry, education, energy, infrastructure, the digital economy, and people-to-people linkages.

The two leaders also exchanged views on key regional and global developments of mutual interest.

They witnessed the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding to strengthen cooperation across existing and new sectors.
