Oman-Saudi Arabia business forum strengthens economic ties
The Oman-Saudi Arabia Business Forum held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, uniting government officials, business leaders and investors to enhance economic collaboration between the two Gulf nations.
Organised as part of the Omani-Saudi Franchise Exhibition by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in partnership with the Federation of Saudi Chambers, the forum aimed to explore promising opportunities for trade, investment and industrial integration.
Omani representatives showcased visual presentations detailing the services and programmes offered by OCCI to support the business community.
They emphasised incentives available through the “Invest Oman” platform, a new investment opportunity identified by the Oman Investment Authority and industrial prospects facilitated by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn).
A key dialogue session, titled “The Reality and Prospects of Economic Integration and Cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”, discussed methods to expand bilateral trade, promote industrial integration and enhance private-sector partnerships.
The event also included B2b meetings between Omani and Saudi business owners, fostering direct agreements and new strategic collaborations.
A significant announcement was made about the establishment of a joint Omani-Saudi company named “G7” managed by the Serapis Entertainment Group, which will focus on tourism promotion, brands and franchise marketing, as well as organising conferences, exhibitions and international festivals.
Additionally, Saudi participants outlined the Kingdom’s investment environment, providing insights into economic reforms, regulatory developments and key sectors highlighted under Saudi Vision 2030.
