Security forces kill 18 terrorists in operations across Balochistan
Security forces and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) have conducted successful intelligence-based operations against terrorists in various parts of Balochistan, killing at least 18 militants.
According to security sources, during an operation in the mountainous areas of Zhob and Sherani districts, intense gunfire was exchanged with terrorists, resulting in the death of eight militants affiliated with the Fitna Al Khawarij militant group.
A large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain terrorists.
Similarly, the CTD conducted a raid on the outskirts of Quetta’s Aghbarak area following intelligence about the presence of terrorists.
Police reported that upon the arrival of security personnel, the terrorists opened fire. In the retaliatory action, 10 terrorists were killed, with significant weapons and ammunition seized from them.
Police officials stated that the slain terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces and sabotage activities.
Security forces have launched clearance operations to eliminate any remaining threats.
