Pakistani comedian Wali Sheikh has reported that his car was stolen from outside his residence in Moinabad area of Malir.

According to ARY News, Sheikh stated that the suspects took the vehicle directly from outside his house and praised the Model Colony police for their cooperation in the case so far.

In a video message posted on social media, the comedian made emotional appeal to the Sindh government and law enforcement agencies for assistance.

“I’m a poor and a small actor. I bought this car with great difficulty. I request the authorities to recover it and return it to me”, he pledged.

This marks the second time Sheikh has fallen victim to theft. In June 2023, he was robbed at gunpoint at Karachi’s Northern Bypass. At that time, armed motorcyclists stole his mobile phone and Rs85,000 in cash.

Sheikh shared a video message then as well, explaining that the incident occurred near the city’s cattle market at the Northern Bypass.

Reports continued to surfaced social media about the rise in street crimes in the area, particularly around the Northern Bypass Cattle Market. Victims including cattle farm owners, have alleged that they were targeted by criminals while en route to the market.

Local residents have urged authorities to take immediate action to curb the growing lawlessness in the region.
