L’Oréal Paris opens Paris Fashion Week with star-studded open-air show celebrating beauty and empowerment
L’Oréal Paris kicked off Paris Fashion Week on Monday with a dazzling open-air runway show outside the historic Hôtel de Ville, drawing large crowds and featuring a lineup of Hollywood icons and supermodels in a celebration of beauty, empowerment, and sisterhood.
Set against the backdrop of the French capital, the brand’s signature runway event featured bold fashion choices—bright reds, blacks, golds, and whites, many adorned with glitter—as models and celebrities blew kisses to fans and embraced each other on the catwalk.
American actress Eva Longoria, who took part in the show, told Reuters that the energy was infectious: “It sets the tone for the week. It fills the night with so much excitement and energy. I’m not a model, but it’s fun to pretend to be one.”

Other stars gracing the runway included Andie MacDowell and Viola Davis, both sporting bright red lipstick, while Jane Fonda wore a striking golden bodysuit. Brazilian singer Anitta performed live mid-show, and Kendall Jenner closed the evening in a flowing white gown.

The event was livestreamed on platforms like Instagram and TikTok—reflecting L’Oréal’s growing digital push, especially in beauty product sales.

L’Oréal Paris is the flagship brand of French cosmetics giant L’Oréal Group, which owns a wide portfolio of beauty labels ranging from mass-market products to luxury lines. The company also holds the license to produce Armani beauty products and was named a preferred buyer in the late designer Giorgio Armani’s will to potentially acquire a stake in Armani Group.
