Dubai-Faisalabad flight makes emergency landing in Karachi after passenger’s death
A foreign airline flight from Dubai to Faisalabad made an emergency landing at Karachi Airport on Saturday after a passenger’s condition deteriorated.
According to airport officials, the passenger fell seriously ill on the foreign airline’s Dubai-Faisalabad flight.
The captain of the plane contacted Karachi Air Traffic Control and requested permission for an emergency landing at Karachi Airport.
Doctors and paramedical staff were called to the airport
The airport officials said the flight was near Larkana when the pilot informed the Karachi Air Traffic Control (ATC) about the emergency.
After the passenger lost consciousness, the pilot diverted the flight towards Karachi.
During the landing, the passenger, Zulfiqar Ali, passed away due to a heart attack.
The doctors transferred the deceased passenger’s body to the hospital.
Meanwhile, on the Karachi-Dubai flight FZ 334, a 3-year-old girl Zahra Adil fell seriously ill.
She lost consciousness due to a high fever, prompting the crew to alert the medical emergency team.
The child and two other family members were offloaded from the flight.
Zahra’s mother informed Karachi Airport authorities about the deterioration in the child’s condition.
