Taskin Ahmed clinched three wickets, while Mahedi Hasan and Rishad Hossain grabbed a couple of wickets each.
Bangladesh captain Jaker Ali won the toss and elected to field first.
There had been no changes in the Pakistan playing XI as all the players from the last match against Sri Lanka were retained.
The loss in today’s match could have resulted in the elimination of Pakistan from the rally to the Asia Cup’s final, and Bangladesh would have eventually qualified for the finals with four points.
