Tom Holland suffers mild concussion on set
Tom Holland has been hospitalised following a mild concussion he suffered during a stunt while filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
According to reports, the actor was rushed to the hospital prompting an immediate suspension of filming.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed that they received a call at 10:30am regarding a patient injured at Leavesden Studios in Watford.
In a statement they stated, “an ambulance was sent to the scene and the patient was transported to hospital for further care”.
An insider revealed that Holland was hospitalised “out of precaution” but is expected to return to work in just a few days.
The actor has previously expressed excitement about filming in real locations again, as Spider-Man: No Way Home was primarily shot on soundstages during the pandemic.
The film Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to release on July 24,2026.
