A key militant leader affiliated with Indian terror proxy Fitna Al Hindustan has died under mysterious circumstances in Afghanistan’s Helmand province, according to sources.

The militant leader, identified as Gul Rehman alias Ustad Mureed, is believed to have died on September 17, though details surrounding his death remain unclear, Indian media claimed.

The sources claimed that Gul Rehman was the mastermind behind the Jaffar Express attack and served as a trainer and operational commander for the Majid Brigade, a militant wing of the Fitna Al Hindustan.

He was also allegedly involved in numerous attacks targeting security forces, Chinese nationals, civilians, and various state institutions, the sources added.
