19 Pakistani firms showcase sweets and snacks at ISM Middle East 2025 in Dubai
Around 19 Pakistani companies are participating in the ISM Middle East 2025, a leading international trade fair for the confectionery, sweets, and snacks industry, being held from September 15 to September 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai Hussain Muhammad, accompanied by Trade & Investment Consular Ali Zeb Khan, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at the exhibition.
Two companies are showcasing under the umbrella of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), while 17 others are exhibiting independently.
Pakistani firms are presenting a wide range of premium confectionery, baked and frozen goods, biscuits, cakes, chocolates, candies, chips, and snacks to attract buyers from across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and beyond.
Speaking at the event, Consul General Hussain Muhammad said Pakistan’s participation underscored the country’s growing strength in the global confectionery and snack industry.
“The presence of Pakistani firms at this premier platform highlights the quality, diversity, and competitiveness of our products. Such engagements will open new avenues for Pakistani exporters and strengthen trade linkages with the UAE, the wider Middle East, and beyond,” he added.
Trade & Investment Consular Ali Zeb noted that ISM Middle East, being the largest confectionery and snacks trade exhibition in the region, offers Pakistani companies a valuable opportunity to access international markets and build long-term business collaborations.
This year’s exhibition features more than 700 exhibitors from over 60 countries. With snack consumption in the MENA region showing strong year-on-year growth, industry demand is shifting rapidly towards health-focused, eco-friendly, and culturally adapted snacking solutions.
