Death toll rises to 112 due to floods caused by Punjab rivers: PDMA
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has released a report on the damages caused by floods in the Ravi, Sutlej and Chenab rivers.
According to the report, 112 people have lost their lives in different incidents linked to flooding caused by the Ravi, Sutlej and Chenab rivers.

Gujranwala and Gujrat region recorded the highest number of deaths – 45.
Since June 2025, 186 people have lost their lives, while 648 were left injured.
More than 4,700 villages have been affected. A total of 4.721 million people have been displaced, with 2.608 million relocated to safer areas.
The report stated that 363 relief camps, 446 medical camps and 382 veterinary camps have been established in the affected districts. It added that no new loss of life has been reported in the past 24 hours.
Relief Commissioner Punjab said Mangla Dam has reached 94% of its capacity, while Tarbela Dam is full at 100%. On the Indian side, Bhakra Dam (India) is 88% full, Pong Dam (India) 94% and Thein Dam (India) 88%.
