Five security personnel, including a captain, were martyred in Balochistan’s Kech district after their vehicle was targeted in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast on September 15, the military’s media wing said on Monday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the attack took place in the Sher Bandi area, claiming the lives of Captain Waqar Ahmed, Naik Asmatullah, Lance Naik Junaid Ahmed, Lance Naik Khan Muhammad, and Sepoy Muhammad Zahoor.
In a swift response, security forces launched a clearance operation in the area and killed five terrorists linked to the Fitna Al-Hindustan.
