Wildlife officials capture rogue leopard in Abbottabad
The Wildlife Department on Monday successfully captured a rogue leopard that had been roaming residential areas in Abbottabad for several days, spreading fear among local residents.
According to officials, the leopard had attacked and killed multiple livestock during its time near populated villages.
Responding to repeated complaints from locals, a special team carried out a carefully planned operation to subdue the animal without causing harm.
The leopard was eventually trapped and placed in a secure cage, bringing much-needed relief to frightened residents.
Wildlife authorities said the animal will be kept under observation and relocated to a safe environment away from human settlements.
