Gandapur stages sit-in outside Adiala, announces historic rally in Peshawar
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced that a historic rally will be held in Peshawar on September 27.
Speaking to the media outside the Adiala Jail, Gandapur urged people and party members to begin preparation for the historic public gathering in the provincial capital.
He also staged a sit-in outside the premises of Adiala Jail with other provincial cabinet ministers.
When asked about whether he was chairing a formal cabinet meeting, he denied that “Chief Secretary and Home Secretary must be present to complete the quorum for a cabinet meeting.”
“When it comes to the cabinet meeting, we will notify and hold it as well,” Gandapur said.
He also said that the Punjab government lacks the courage to allow them a meeting with their incarcerated leader and founder of PTI, Imran Khan.
Gandapur termed social media as “unguided missile”, conspiring to instil division in the party.
