The younger brother of Ahmed Shah, Umer Shah has passed away, as confirmed by the family on social media.

On Monday, through Ahmed Shah’s official Instagram handle @cuteahmedshah01, the family described Umer’s death as their second tragedy, following earlier loss of their daughter Ayesha and has requested prayers for the young boy.

“This is to inform you the little shining star of our family, Umer Shah has returned to Allah Almighty”, the family wrote on Instagram.

Umer was well-known to television audiences for his appearances alongside his elder brother during Ramadan transmissions and also on a popular game show.

He gained significant attention after Ahmed’s viral “Peechay to Dekho” video turned their family into internet sensations.

Fans and fellow entertainers have expressed shock and sympathy as news of Umer’s passing spread across social media platforms.
