President Zardari begins official visit to China with warm welcome in Chengdu

Talks with Chinese leadership to focus on boosting cooperation under all-weather partnership

President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in Chengdu on Friday, marking the start of his official visit to China aimed at deepening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.

At Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, the President was warmly received by Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong and Sichuan Province Vice Governor Huang Ruixue.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong were also present to welcome him.

During the visit, President Zardari is scheduled to hold meetings with China’s top leadership and senior officials to strengthen the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
