Field Marshal Asim Munir, services chiefs pay homage to Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed
The 60th martyrdom anniversary of Major Raja Aziz Bhatti Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider was observed today with deep respect and gratitude.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, along with the Services Chiefs and the Armed Forces paid rich tribute to the national hero who laid down his life defending the homeland in the 1965 war.
Major Aziz Bhatti valiantly defended the Barki sector near Lahore for five consecutive days, displaying unwavering determination and exemplary leadership that successfully thwarted enemy advances.
ISPR stated that this devotion to duty remains a guiding torch for the nation and the Armed Forces.
“Major Aziz Bhatti’s supreme sacrifice and acts of bravery will always be remembered”, ISPR said, adding that his courage continues to inspire generations with the spirit of sacrifice.
The Armed Forces saluted Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed and reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to defending the country, while also paying tribute to the families of martyrs for their resilience and sacrifices.
