South Africa’s tour of Pakistan confirmed: Tests, ODIs and T20Is scheduled
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Saturday announced the schedule for South Africa’s upcoming all-format tour of Pakistan, featuring two Tests, three One-Day Internationals, and three Twenty20 Internationals.
The series will begin with the first Test in Lahore from October 12, followed by the second Test in Rawalpindi from October 20.
Both matches will count towards the ICC World Test Championship.
The three T20 internationals are scheduled from October 28 to November 1.
The opening T20 will be played in Rawalpindi, while the remaining two fixtures will take place in Lahore.
South Africa will then play three ODIs in Faisalabad between November 4 and 8.
This will mark the return of international one-day cricket to Faisalabad after 17 years, a milestone the PCB has described as historic.
PCB Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed Syed said the home series promises high-quality cricket for fans, adding that the return of ODIs to Faisalabad is “a landmark occasion in Pakistan’s cricketing history.”
