Special prayers were offered in the mosques for the progress and prosperity of the country, and for the independence of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir from the clutches of India.

Radio and television will broadcast special programmes to pay tribute to the Shuhada and Ghazis of the 1965 war.
