US lawyer named Mark Zuckerberg sues Meta over repeated Facebook bans
Attorney claims account suspensions cost him thousands despite proving his identity
A US attorney named Mark S. Zuckerberg has filed a lawsuit against Meta, accusing the company of repeatedly suspending his Facebook accounts over the past eight years.
According to the lawyer, his accounts were blocked five times, despite the fact that “Mark Zuckerberg” is his real name and he has practiced law for 38 years.
Each suspension, he said, disrupted his business operations and caused him losses amounting to thousands of dollars.
The attorney claims he provided multiple forms of identification — including photographs, a credit card, and a government-issued photo ID — to verify his identity, yet Facebook continued to suspend his accounts.
